MINT AND CORIANDER PASTE CHICKEN BIRIYANI


INGREDIENTS ;;

500 GM CHICKEN CUT INTO PIECES
250 GM ONION SLICED
250 GM TOMATO SLICED
1 TBSP GINGER PASTE / GRATED / CHOPPED
1 TBSP GARLIC PASTE / GRATED / CHOPPED
3 GREEN CHILLY CHOPPED/ SLIT
1/2 TSP GARAM MASALA
3 GLOVES CARDAMOM
1 INCH CINNAMON
1/2 CUP CORIANDER LEAVES + 1/2 CUP MINT LEAVES ( grind to paste )
1 TBSP OIL
SALT

METHOD-

In a pressure cooker pour 1 tbsp of oil , Saute cardamom , cinnamon add onion, ginger, garlic, chilly, mix well place the lid and the weight, cook till 1 whistle remove from the fire then add tomato saute for a while add chicken , garam masala and coriander- mint paste. Close the cooker place and put weight cook for 3 whistle or till done. take a non stick biriyani pan transfer the masala to it, if more gravy present reduce to semi liquid.

FOR RICE -;
500 GM BIRIYANI RICE
1000 ML WATER
3 CARDAMOM
1 INCH CINNAMON
5 GLOVES
1 TBS OIL
SALT

METHOD-

In a pressure cooker pour 1 tbsp of oil saute all the spices add salt rice and add water cook till 1 whistle reduce the heat then once you hear 2nd whistle off the heat, when pressure gone transfer the rice over the mixture cover the biriyani pot.
